The disturbing behaviors that bombard us daily violence, greed, corruption, incivility, drug abuse, and poor work ethics, have a common core, and that is, the absence of good character.
Lessons will explain the ten essential virtues and the way character profoundly affects the quality of our individual and collective lives. Parents will be exposed to ways they can raise children of character; teachers learn to create a learning community that fosters responsible work and moral behavior, regardless of the subject matter being taught.
This course will also teach how any school can become a school of character, as well as involve an entire community in promoting good character.

This course serves to first assist parents, teachers and other Change Agents involved in the development of children or youth, to recognize their innate ability to be resilient i.e., to be able to move beyond any adversities or difficulties that may exist in their lives. The course describes four common attributes of resilient children and families: social competence; problem-solving skills; autonomy; sense of purpose and future.
Resiliency theory indicates that most people have some of each of these attributes, but that whether these attributes are strong enough to help individuals cope with adversity in their lives depends on protective factors in families, schools, and communities.
The course includes information need to move families, schools, the community, children and youth from risk to resiliency.

The counseling or growth group modality serves to allow members of the group to see a re-enactment of their everyday problems. They gain the opportunity to experience themselves as they did in their original family, reliving conflicts they had or have with parents, siblings, teachers, spouse, coworkers, etc. Lesson topics include:

b) Group leader responsibility for setting the tone of the group particularly in the initial stage.
